Each program begins with a 45 minute consultation including both the parents and student. During this session the college consultant will evaluate the student’s strengths and interests to create an individualized plan to help the student reach their academic goals.

Our consultants are experts in the college application and selection process, and by the end of the consultation you will be confidant that you and your student will be expertly guided through the entire college application and selection process. Whether you are a Sophomore wanting to prepare for the SAT's or are currently enrolled in community college we can help advance your education.


Transfer Students:
This program is designed for students who are currently enrolled at a community college wanting to transfer to a university. We will make sure you are taking the right course prerequisites for your major and assist in the transfer application process. We also assist individuals in the re-enrollment process. This is great for older individuals who want to advance their education and ultimately receive a college degree.

Seniors:
This program is designed for students who are in their senior year and who are preparing for the college admission and selection process. This program helps students refine their college selection list and guide them through the extensive admission process. Topics include college selection, essay writing, financial aid, deadline management and choosing a major. This program works individually with your student through the entire process, from the beginning of the college search up to the first day on campus.

  • How to get a fantastic letter of recommendation
  • Financial Aid/ FAFSA
  • Scholarships
  • Choosing a major
  • Writing the application essay
  • College visits

Juniors:
This is a two year program which begins in the Junior year and continues through the Senior year, up to the first day of college. Each program is individualized to cater to the students specific needs, but topics generally include the following:

  • Evaluating transcripts and course selection- ensuring student schedule meets college requirements
  • Advising in activities, interests and extra-curricular activities
  • SAT, ACT & SAT II Subject Tests - advising, review and scheduling
  • The college search- formation of college list which matches student interests, majors and environment
  • Formation of college application list- including “dream” schools, “likely” schools and “desired” schools
  • Developing of student "brag book" or resume
  • Obtaining letters of recommendation- who to ask, how to ask, and when
  • Accountability to academic goals and deadlines
  • Advice and determination when and if Early Action or Early Decision applies
  • Financial Aid and Scholarship advice
  • College Admission Essays & Personal Statements- brainstorming of topics, creating outlines, essay review and coaching
  • Advising of appropriate summer programs, camps and courses
  • Acceptance decisions, narrowing the list to the perfect school

Freshmen and Sophomores:
For students who want to get a head start creating a game plan to get in to their top choice schools, we offer the following:

  • College Application Preview
  • PSAT, SAT and ACT planning
  • Course planning and advising
  • Academic goals and accountability
  • Setting goals and creating an individual roadmap for success
  • Advising of appropriate summer programs, camps and courses
  • Personality assessment, evaluating a student’s strengths and interests
  • Interest inventory to help students explore their career interests and options
